Johannes Timmerhaus praises internship at h2-netzwerk-ruhr <\/h2>\n\n

As part of the state programme “No graduation without a qualification”<\/strong>, all Year 8 students in NRW<\/strong> complete one-day internships for career exploration<\/strong>. Johannes Timmerhaus<\/strong>, a student at the Max Planck Grammar School in Gelsenkirchen, chose h2-netzwerk-ruhr for this. The student\u2019s reasoning: “Last year I already wrote a project paper on hydrogen, and since then I have been very interested in this topic.” <\/p>\n\n

After Peter Brautmeier, the network\u2019s spokesperson, had provided the young man with general information about hydrogen<\/strong>, about the ongoing projects<\/strong> in the Ruhr region and about the role of h2-netzwerk-ruhr<\/strong>, Johannes took part in a virtual meeting of the working team led by the new chair, Dr Thomas Kattenstein. Afterwards, master electrician Manuel Bazik gave him a detailed explanation of wind power electrolysis<\/strong> at the H2Herten Application Centre<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

Johannes Timmerhaus\u2019s conclusion: “That was a very exciting day for me. I would like to thank h2-netzwerk-ruhr for giving me this opportunity.”<\/p>\n\n
