{"id":3936,"date":"2022-05-18T16:19:53","date_gmt":"2022-05-18T14:19:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/h2-netzwerk-ruhr.de\/enhancing-networking-and-marketing-of-hydrogen-expertise-in-the-ruhr-region\/"},"modified":"2026-08-03T07:33:34","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T05:33:34","slug":"enhancing-networking-and-marketing-of-hydrogen-expertise-in-the-ruhr-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/h2-netzwerk-ruhr.de\/en\/enhancing-networking-and-marketing-of-hydrogen-expertise-in-the-ruhr-region\/","title":{"rendered":"Enhancing networking and marketing of hydrogen expertise in the Ruhr region"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Joint Project Office of RVR and BMR Opened <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch\nof the joint project office of the two institutions was announced on May 17, 2022, in Essen by\nDr. Frank Dudda, Chairman of the Ruhr Parliament (Mayor of Herne),\nKarola Gei\u00df-Netth\u00f6fel, Regional Director of the RVR, and Prof. Julia Frohne, Head of Business Metropole\nRuhr (MBR).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the\nRuhr region, in addition to h2-netzwerk-ruhr e.V., the oldest of its kind,\nthere are now several local, regional, or thematically focused networks\nthat deal with hydrogen technologies. The new project office aims to\nbundle these various strategies, avoid duplication of effort and unnecessary\ncompetition, and implement a unified approach for the Ruhr region in\npromoting the use of hydrogen. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over forty\nstakeholders from networks and companies in the Ruhr region accepted the invitation to\nZeche Zollverein. In addition to the presentation of the project office, they received\ninsights into Vonovia&#8217;s plans regarding h2 deployment in the\nhousing industry, Open Grid Europe&#8217;s perspective on the expansion of\ninfrastructure, and Project Management J\u00fclich&#8217;s overview of existing funding opportunities for\nh2 projects and the necessities for expanding funding options. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interesting evening concluded with a get-together, which most participants gladly used for networking.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped
