Strong Interest in Fuel Cell Cars <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

While the news magazine SPIEGEL-online announced the demise of the fuel cell car, visitors to the e:Motion <\/strong><\/a>at the Ewald site in Herten showed great interest in the models presented there. For the eighth time, the free outdoor exhibition presented trends and forms of new mobility to visitors interested in environmentally friendly mobility. <\/p>\n\n

Gregor Born, operations manager of the ZBH of the City of Herten, showcased his Hyundai NEXO and explained the vehicle’s advantages. Dieter Kwapis, technology manager of the City of Herten, demonstrated the H2 filling station and showed a refueling process for the Toyota Mirai. <\/p>\n\n

There was also great interest in the energy complementary system at the H2Herten user center. Guided tours of the facility were held in two groups, showcasing a complete cycle from electricity generation by a wind turbine to hydrogen production through electrolysis, compression, storage, and re-electrification. <\/p>\n\n
