Dr. J\u00fcrgen Leder<\/strong> of Thyssengas opened his expert presentation at the Advisory Board meeting on September 23, 2024 with the words: “I have good news and bad news. The good news is: The hydrogen core network is coming.<\/strong> The bad news is: It will remain empty for now; there is still no green hydrogen.” Leder concluded: “We urgently need more investment in the production of green hydrogen.” <\/p>\n

Thyssengas <\/strong>will contribute 1,200 kilometres to the expansion of the core network. In doing so, the company is cooperating with other partners, e.g. the network member OGE<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

While Thyssengas is responsible for the transmission sector<\/strong>, Gelsenwasser AG<\/strong> is preparing to expand the hydrogen distribution network<\/strong>. Manuel Behlke<\/strong> informed the Advisory Board members about his company\u2019s activities in this area. According to him, Gelsenwasser is convinced that hydrogen can make an important contribution to the future heat supply<\/strong>. The aim is to make the future heat supply<\/strong> secure<\/strong>, climate-neutral<\/strong> and affordable<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The Advisory Board meeting ended with the usual get-together, which the Advisory Board and network members are happy to use for professional exchange.<\/p>\n
