{"id":4173,"date":"2025-04-03T09:04:58","date_gmt":"2025-04-03T07:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/h2-netzwerk-ruhr.de\/exciting-insights-and-productive-discussions\/"},"modified":"2026-08-03T07:42:18","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T05:42:18","slug":"exciting-insights-and-productive-discussions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/h2-netzwerk-ruhr.de\/en\/exciting-insights-and-productive-discussions\/","title":{"rendered":"Exciting Insights and Productive Discussions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Members&#8217; Evening on April 1, 2025 at ZBT<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CEO of the <strong>Center for Fuel Cell Technology ZBT<\/strong> in Duisburg, Dr. Peter Beckhaus, provided an overview of the current state of the German hydrogen economy at the latest <strong>members&#8217; evening of h2-netzwerk-ruhr e.V.<\/strong>, before presenting the activities of ZBT together with department head Dr. Christian Spitta.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prior to this, the network chairman Dr. Thomas Kattenstein welcomed the more than thirty participants and expressed his hope that the results of the coalition negotiations for the formation of a new federal government could also provide new momentum for the hydrogen sector.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. D\u00e9sir\u00e9e Schulte, Managing Director of h2-netzwerk-ruhr, presented the organization&#8217;s annual plan, drawing particular attention to the <strong>general assembly at Wissenschaftspark Gelsenkirchen<\/strong> on <strong>May 22, 2025<\/strong>, the <strong>h2 summer event<\/strong> on <strong>August 28, 2025 at Anwenderzentrum Herten<\/strong>, and the <strong>members&#8217; evening<\/strong> at KSW in Essen on <strong>September 11, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In two groups, the visitors then toured the laboratories and the <strong>Hydrogen Test Field<\/strong> in the outdoor area of ZBT. This clearly demonstrated the high <strong>technical competence of ZBT<\/strong> in the further development of electrolyzer and fuel cell technology. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An important part of the members&#8217;
