Student Program

HyNoon with Hydrogen and Fuel Cell.

In cooperation with zdi-Zentrum MINT.REgio, h2-netzwerk-ruhr has developed a program for students in grades 9-11. Through an introductory lecture and practical experiments, students are taught about hydrogen and fuel cell technology in the context of the energy transition. Students visit the energy complementary system based on wind power, hydrogen, and batteries, which enables a self-sufficient renewable energy supply for the building. Relevant career fields are addressed, and, if possible, an industrial member of the association presents their perspective on the topic.

The program spans four hours and takes place at the h2herten application center on the grounds of Zeche Ewald. It is divided into two blocks, with the group able to choose one of the following options for the second block, depending on their enthusiasm:

  • Recording of characteristic curves
  • Geo-caching for the energy transition in the center’s vicinity.

If you are interested, we will gladly provide you with more detailed information. Contact us for an appointment. The number of appointments is limited – especially for groups from outside the Ruhr area.
