Dr. Désirée Schulte Supports Network Activities

h2-netzwerk-ruhr Strengthens its Team

Dr. rer.pol. Dipl.-Ing. Désirée Schulte has assumed the role of Network Manager at h2-netzwerk-ruhr as of the beginning of this month.

Désirée Schulte possesses many years of experience in energy plant construction and consulting for industrial companies, which she will enrichingly contribute to the network’s work in the future. One of her previous professional focuses was the optimization and quality assurance of processes through CIP (Continuous Improvement Process). “This can be very helpful for the work of h2-netzwerk-ruhr,” says Volker Lindner, Chairman of the network.

In numerous lectures and seminars, Désirée Schulte has shared her extensive knowledge. In her doctoral thesis, she intensively dealt with CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage) processes, a technology that is also relevant in connection with the production of “blue” hydrogen. The dissertation was based on a sociocultural question, namely, to what extent communication is crucial as an integrative part of implementing large-scale projects in the energy sector .

As an authorized signatory, Désirée Schulte, together with her husband, manages the successful Oberhausen consulting and trading company Fasteel, which has made a name for itself in the field of permit management as well as sustainability assessment of industrial (large-scale) new energy plants and in the steel trading sector.

Through a contract with Fasteel GmbH, h2-netzwerk-ruhr e.V. was successfully able to close the personnel gap that had arisen after the departure of Dr. Michael Weber and the expiration of the cooperation agreement with EE Energy Engineers.

At Fasteel, Désirée Schulte can rely on a competent team of experts from various disciplines and has set out to intensify the network’s communication with its members: “To this end, I can imagine gradually building our own digital collaboration platform for h2-netzwerk-ruhr, where members can present their projects, concerns, and questions and engage in dialogue with each other. Such an interactive solution is future-oriented and, especially in the current situation, offers all members a good opportunity for exchange.”

Volker Lindner is delighted to have gained Dr. Schulte, a highly competent network manager, for h2-netzwerk-ruhr. “With her help, we want to significantly increase the added value of membership in our network.” Dr. Désirée Schulte can be reached at the following contact details: by email at d.schulte[at]h2-netzwerk-ruhr.de/ and by phone at 0171 199 22 20.
