Network Members Experience Tour of the Technical Center

Members’ Evening at the Application Center

The first members’ evening of h2-netzwerk-ruhr in 2023 was well attended on February 15. Over forty participants had gathered at the AnwenderzentrumH2Herten, where they were welcomed by the First Deputy Mayor of the City of Herten, Janine Feldmann, and the network chairman Volker Lindner.

The network members had come to Herten to view the wind power electrolysis at the application center, the hydrogen refueling station, and the high-temperature storage project. Together with the establishment of the Cummins/Hydrogenics fuel cell factory, a genuine “hydrogen cluster” has already emerged in Herten.

The members’ evenings also serve to present new network members. A total of seven companies have joined since the last introductory round in 2022 and took the opportunity to introduce themselves to those present with their activities and projects.

The evening concluded with a professional exchange over light refreshments.
