Green Hydrogen in Focus

At the invitation of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, a delegation of energy experts from Egypt and Morocco is currently touring Germany to learn about the production of hydrogen with renewable energies. On June 1, 2023, the delegation stopped in Herten and visited the H2Herten User Center and the HyMobility hydrogen filling station. The visitors were welcomed by Peter Brautmeier, spokesperson for h2-netzwerk-ruhr, Nils Westerfeld, hydrogen coordinator for WiN Emscher-Lippe, and Prof. Karl-Herbert Klug from HyCon GmbH.

The participants showed particular interest in the structure and components of the wind power electrolysis, which was expertly explained by Prof. Klug.
