Hydrogen Week 2023

Theme week from June 10 to 18 connects events nationwide

For the fifth time, the HYDROGEN WEEK (WDW)
connects exhibitions, presentations, webinars, lectures, factory and laboratory tours, public festivals, and much more. From June 10 to 18, 2023, free (digital) hydrogen events for all interested parties will take place nationwide.

H2 marketplace event at Washington Platz, Berlin

This year, the members of H2Berlin will provide information at Washington Platz in front of Berlin Central Station on “WHO, HOW, WHYdrogen” is planned in Berlin. Experts from politics, science, and industry will present how an economically and socially sustainable energy transition with sustainable hydrogen can succeed in Berlin.

Various events and tours around Bremerhaven

On several days, interested parties can explore hydrogen projects in and around Bremerhaven. An excerpt from the extensive program: On June 10, BIS Bremerhaven will start with a bicycle tour to the H2 hotspots. For those who find cycling too uncomfortable, on June 14 they can participate in the Hydrogen Bus Adventure and be driven to the sites of hydrogen production and the locations of hydrogen handling. On June 13, Klimahaus and BIS Bremerhaven invite visitors to the
Energy Transition Special Exhibition “Power2Change” at Klimahaus.

Filling Station Talks in Willich, Oldenburg & Düren

Hydrogen as fuel for cars, vans, buses, waste collectors, or large commercial vehicles, as well as the necessary expansion of hydrogen refueling infrastructure, are topics at the Filling Station Talks by H2 MOBILITY Deutschland in Oldenburg (June 15) and Düren (June 16), as well as at the Filling Station Talk (information event) in Willich (June 15).

H2: Guarantor of the Energy Transition

Hydrogen is considered the guarantor of the energy transition. Hydrogen is intended to bring renewable energies into mobility, replace natural gas, and decarbonize industry and chemistry.

The WDW has set itself the goal of conveying the comprehensive topic of hydrogen in a credible and vivid manner. The events are financed and organized independently by the participating companies, universities, networks, initiatives, districts, and cities, but are jointly communicated and promoted within the framework of the WDW.

The diverse program and further information can be found in the WDW calendar at www.woche-des-wasserstoffs.de.
