Seizing the opportunities of sustainable energy systems

TÜV Rheinland invites you to the Stadtwerketag in Berlin

Municipal utilities are the engine of the German energy transition and today, more than ever, face a multitude of challenges. Municipal heating planning, the heating, electricity, and mobility transition, an increasing shortage of skilled workers, necessary digitalization, the use of new technologies, or the entry into the hydrogen economy are just a few of them.

At the Stadtwerketag on June 20, 2024, in Berlin, TÜV Rheinland supports companies in finding solutions to these challenges and aims to inspire them to position the transformation of their own energy systems in an economically sustainable way and to seize opportunities.

The program includes discussions on how energy systems can be efficiently transformed and which new business models may be suitable for individual companies in the future. At the Stadtwerketag, participants will receive answers to questions including:

  • Why are municipal utilities an indispensable factor for the success of the energy transition and specifically for the success of the heating transition?
  • Which responsibilities and functions are municipal utilities likely (not) to assume in the future?
  • How can legislators help to ensure a successful climate transition? What opportunities and risks arise from a legislative perspective?
