Hydrogen makes the world go around – today in combination with carbon in fossil fuels, in the future as a “green” pure substance extracted from water and renewable energy … and employed in fuel-cell-units: efficient, emission-free and with a long range. For a decade now, the h2-netzwerk-ruhr has combined the efforts of municipalities, enterprises and research centres to shape the structural change with Hydrogen and fuel cell technology. On its’ 10thanniversary the h2-netzwerk-ruhr discusses the perspectives that these technologies have to offer for the Ruhr area today and for the future. A number of top-level lectures by experts will lay the foundation for this. Afterwards there will be the possibility of look into vehicles and the local H2 filling station.
