HYCON and h2herten at E-World
What could the future of energy supply look like?
This is the focus of the engineering and planning office HYCON GmbH together with the hydrogen center h2herten, both members of h2-netzwerk-ruhr, presenting themselves at E-World in Essen from Monday, February 5, to Wednesday, February 7, 2019.
At the joint booth (Hall 5-523), experts provide information about services and existing infrastructure in the field of power-to-gas and hydrogen-based energy
storage systems for green electricity and heat supply for commercial or private properties as well as residential areas.
For the efficient integration of wind and solar power, it will become increasingly important in the future to use electricity at the point of generation.
To achieve this, the problem of renewable energy storage must be solved. It is likely that the economic viability of renewable electricity supply will depend to a considerable extent on
the availability of application-optimized energy storage systems. One solution approach for this is the presented hydrogen-based energy complementary system (HECS) implemented in Herten.
