“Hydrogen Lab Ruhr”: Plans for Industrial Electrolysis Production

The Hydrogen Opportunity: In the course of the energy transition and the necessity of climate protection, the production of hydrogen from renewable sources is moving into a key position. The h2-netzwerk-ruhr has developed plans for the Ruhr Metropolis to establish itself internationally as a center for this promising development of a new industrial sector. These plans are summarized in the brochure “Hydrogen Lab Ruhr: Concept for the Development of an Electrolysis Industry in the Ruhr Metropolis.” The considerations for the concept range from information on location issues, regional competencies, and stakeholders to strategic objectives.
