New members introduced themselves at the New Year’s reception

In front of sixty guests, nine companies that had joined h2-netzwerk-ruhr e.V. over the course of the past year had the opportunity on February 6, 2024 to present themselves and their expertise in the hydrogen economy.

Herten’s City Councillor for Urban Development Janine Feldman welcomed the guests at the AnwenderzentrumH2Herten and expressed her delight that so many members of the network had made their way to Herten. Dr. Désirée Schulte then guided everyone through the rest of the afternoon with her relaxed moderation.

This New Year’s reception format, in which the new members introduce themselves to the “old” ones, has almost become a tradition. It is well received by visitors because many company representatives can immediately make new contacts and become aware of companies they would otherwise not have met.

Accordingly, networking over a tasty snack of currywurst and potato pancakes took up most of the time. Participants agreed: “This is a good format; we should definitely continue,” said Dr. Frank Obenaus, Deputy Chair of the network.
