h2-netzwerk-ruhr hosts virtual members’ evening

The coronavirus pandemic is changing many things – including the traditional members’ evening of h2-netzwerk-ruhr e.V..

While members would otherwise meet in turn at one of the many member companies to be presented with the latest projects , that is of course not possible in January 2021.

Network Chair Volker Lindner still does not want to forgo personal exchange. “Over the past year, we have gained many new members, who should be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their goals in the hydrogen economy.”

The first “members’ evening” in 2021 will be a members’ afternoon and will take place on February 23, 2021 from 3:00 PM. So far, 31 member organisations have already registered to participate. Several will take the opportunity to present their current projects. For Lindner, the large number of participants at a virtual meeting is not a problem. “We now have experience with events with more than a hundred participants,” Lindner explains, and continues: “The purpose of a network is exchange among one another, knowing what others are doing and learning from each other. That is why, even during the pandemic, we must ensure that we can exchange ideas.” Interest in active involvement in h2-netzwerk-ruhr remains undiminished. A few weeks ago, the Essen business development agency was welcomed as the 50th member, represented by Managing Director André Borchem. There are already further contacts in the Ruhr region that are expected to result in membership in the near future.
