Our member Stadtwerke Witten informs companies about the energy transition

The future of energy supply is a central topic that not only concerns our country but also companies in Witten. For this reason, an information event took place last Tuesday, June 13, which was jointly organized by Witten Economic Development and Stadtwerke Witten. Approximately 50 company representatives accepted the invitation.

Peter Brautmeier, spokesperson for h2-netzwerk-ruhr e.V., delivered a keynote speech with current information. He spoke about the role of hydrogen in the energy transition, various storage technologies, and the potential use of regeneratively produced hydrogen. Another important aspect of his presentation was the significance of appropriate infrastructure as a prerequisite for successful sector coupling.

The presentation received much positive feedback.
