Demonstration Project Launches – h2-netzwerk-ruhr e. V.

Asahi Kasei Europe is launching a demonstration project for the production of green hydrogen at the Hydrogen Competence Center h2herten, a member of the h2 netzwerk ruhr. The new facility simulates the production of hydrogen from wind energy and contributes to the development of a production system for green hydrogen. The joint project with h2herten is planned for one year.

Mayor Fred Toplak, First Deputy Mayor Matthias Steck, Second Deputy Mayor Christoph Heidenreich, and Hideki Tsutsumi, Managing Director of Asahi Kasei Europe, as well as representatives from the City of Herten, Hertener Stadtwerke, h2 netzwerk ruhr e.V., and Asahi Kasei Europe will be present.
