New Network Board Meets DGB – h2-netzwerk-ruhr e. V.

DGB Emscher-Lippe and h2-netzwerk-ruhr Continue Cooperation

The new Chairman of h2-netzwerk-ruhr e.V., Dr. Thomas Kattenstein, and the Network’s Managing Director, Dr. Désirée Schulte, met at the h2herten User Center with Mark Rosendahl, Managing Director of the DGB Emscher-Lippe Region, and Tobias Krupp, Organizational Secretary.

The purpose of this meeting was initially for the stakeholders to get acquainted. Previously, the DGB had regarded former Chairman Volker Lindner as the contact person for all hydrogen-related matters. This role will now be assumed by Dr. Kattenstein and Dr. Schulte, both of whom stated that they are very keen to continue the trusting cooperation with the German Trade Union Confederation.

For the DGB representatives, it is clear that hydrogen will play a central role in the further development of the Emscher-Lippe region. They offered their support to the network on matters of vocational training or contacts with individual companies.
