Post Tests Fuel Cell Drive

StreetScooter WORK L with over 500 km Range

Over the next two years, Deutsche Post plans to test one hundred vehicles of the fuel cell-powered StreetScooter WORK L. These will complement the existing fleet of electric StreetScooters, which Deutsche Post produces at a plant in Aachen and will also produce at a second plant in Düren in the future. “We are now igniting the next stage of development for StreetScooter and demonstrating the great innovation potential within Deutsche Post DHL,” said Jürgen Gerdes, Board Member for Post – eCommerce – Parcel at Deutsche Post DHL Group. “Our goal is and remains to be the market leader in green logistics. We continue to rely on e-mobility, but also on other alternative drive concepts to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions.”
