HYREF among the top 10 fuel cell manufacturers

The magazine Energy CIO Insights has recognized HYREF GmbH (Herten) as one of ten solution providers. HYREF received the award for its off-grid, environmentally friendly energy production using a methanol fuel cell system. HYREF GmbH is located at the H2Herten user center and has been a member of h2-netzwerk-ruhr e.V. for several years.

The HYREF fuel cell produces hydrogen from methanol or biomethanol, which significantly simplifies logistics when supplying the systems’ often remote deployment sites. The systems require little space and can be easily transported from one location to the next.

Klemens Höbing, founder and managing director of HYREF GmbH, is proud of his product’s recognition as one of the ten best fuel cell systems in Europe.
